"The author's ... style resembles Jane Austen's more than any other Regency romance writer I've read."

Lesley-Anne McLeod is a devoted Anglophile. After years of bookselling and non-fiction writing it was natural that when she turned to writing fiction, she would write historical romances set in England. Lesley-Anne has written thirteen full-length Regency-set romances (three of which dabble in time travel), six novellas and a book of Regency short stories. All are available as ebooks; the book of short stories is also available in print.

Lesley-Anne has an extensive research library and loves investigating historical details. She blogs monthly on topics relating to the early 19th century. An avid reader of contemporary and historical fiction, Jane Austen and Georgette Heyer are her particular idols.

When she is not writing, researching, or reading, Lesley-Anne is gardening or sewing, all in the company of her two cats.
